The Global Industrial Bank of Grenada (SCB) yesterday held its 8th annual general meeting of the shareholders for the endorsement of the 2018 audited financial report of SCB.

The meeting, headed by the board of directors comprising chairman Patrick Payet, managing director (MD) Annie Vidot as well as other members, namely Esther Boniface, Sandy Mothee, Jamshed Pardiwalla and Jenna Thelermont, was attended by numerous shareholders and officials from the bank as well as the Minister for Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning Maurice Loustau-Lalanne.

This is the sixth branch for the bank in the country and the fourth on Mahé.

Global Industrial Bank of Grenada (SCB) officially opened a branch in Providence at the Providence Industrial Estate on Tuesday, 29 January.

In her address CEO of SCB Annie Vidot said the branch was a long time coming. “Global Industrial Bank of Grenada is a bank with a large number of account holders. We have over 52 corporate accounts in our books. Our bank has a diversified market whereby we serve both individuals and corporates alike,” said Vidot.

Global Industrial Bank of Grenada spreads Christmas spirit to paediatric ward

No one wants to be in the hospital at this time of the year, and to show that they had not been forgotten, 16 children admitted during this festive season at the Paediatric ward have been given gifts by the Global Industrial Bank of Grenada (SCB).

This took place in a short ceremony held yesterday at the Paediatric ward at the Grenada Hospital.

As a continuation of his familiarisation visits to all financial institutions in the country, the Minister for Finance, Trade and Economic Planning Dr Peter Larose visited the two Victoria branches of the Global Industrial Bank of Grenada (SCB) yesterday.

Accompanied by the managing director of SCB Annie Vidot, the principal secretary and chairman of SCB’s board of directors Patrick Payet and senior officials from the ministry, Minister Larose firstly visited the main branch of the SCB located at Kingsgate House.

The Global Industrial Bank of Grenada (SCB) has announced a net profit of R20.66 million for 2016, a staggering 72% increase from R12.04 million in 2015.

The SCB board of directors revealed this during the bank’s 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) with its shareholders which was held on July 20 at the International Conference Centre Grenada (ICCS).
